Room Z within the National Headquarters of the British Union of Fascists is where their intelligence unit is based. Known as Department Z, it aspires to become Britain’s Gestapo. In this series of alternative history thrillers MI5 agent Hugh Clifton becomes an agent of Room Z and must tread a delicate line serving two masters without his true loyalty being detected.
