It’s 1937 and Britain is being led by a fascist government, but Leader’s grip on power is challenged by socialist unrest on the streets, by foreign agents and by those with even darker visions for Britain.

In Blackshirt Masquerade, disgraced officer Hugh Clifton is persuaded to penetrate the fascists, inadvertently becoming a hero of the Blackshirt movement. The events of that novel change the course of British history in the 1930s as we know it. In Blackshirt Conspiracy, plots whirl around the king and his american mistress, threatening to bring down the government. Extremists of all shades move to exploit the crisis and the Agents of Room Z are thrown into danger.

Blackshirt Rebellion rounds off this trio of alternative history thrillers. Hugh, Sissy and their comrades are forced to make choices as the dark realities of a fascist run Britain strike home. Although historical events have been manipulated for the purpose of the plots, the books are heavily researched and ask what if the fears of those opposing the British fascists in the 1930s came true.
